China Building Science Conference & Green Building Expo
On June 24, the National Exhibition and Convention Center (NCEC) in Tianjin designed by gmp opened its doors with the construction trade fair “China Building Science Conference and Green Building Expo.” At this first exhibition to be held on the new grounds – which, with a total exhibition space of 550,000 square meters, are the largest in northern China – gmp also had a booth.
On large partition walls backlit with LEDs, the firm presented the best of its trade fair projects from the past 25 years, including the Leipzig Trade Fair and exhibition halls in Hannover, Rimini, Nanning, Xi’an, and Tianjin. Visitors were able to access additional information via a QR code linked to a floating page with gmp’s trade fair projects. A large table with books and models placed at the center of the 160-square-meter booth directly adjacent to the event space for the lecture series attracted a great deal of attention.
