Born 1974 in Gelsenkirchen, Jan Blasko has been Partner at gmp in Hamburg since 2023 and manages projects in Europe and Asia. After studying architecture at the Technical University of Darmstadt, he began his professional career in the Hamburg office of gmp. From 2006 to 2009 he worked at the Shanghai office. Since then he has managed various national and international projects, particularly in the fields of infrastructure and high-rise buildings amongst them the Gateway Buildings of Lingang New City, Nanjing Financial City I and II, as well as the Gang Cheng Office Building in Shanghai. He obtained an additional qualification as a real estate economist and has also been part of the Industry Advisory Group at Harvard University Graduate School of Design on the "Future of Air Travel" since October 2019.
